Uninstall the SAP HANA System Using the Command-Line Interface
You can uninstall an SAP HANA system using theSAP HANAdatabase lifecycle manager (HDBLCM)command-line interface.
Prerequisites
You are logged in as root user.
Operating system users are set up for use withSAP HANAXS advanced. For information, seeSAP Note 2243156 - Secure user setup for SAP HANA extended application services, advanced model.
The operating system administrator (<SID>adm) user may exist prior to installation. Make sure that you have the password of the existing<SID>adm user, and that the user attributes and group assignments are correct. TheSAP HANAdatabase lifecycle manager (HDBLCM)resident program will not modify the properties of any existing user or group.

Procedure
Change to theSAP HANAresident HDBLCMdirectory:
cd <sapmnt>/<SID>/hdblcm
By default,<sapmnt>is/hana/shared.
Start theSAP HANAdatabase lifecycle managerinteractively in the command line:
./hdblcm
Select the index foruninstall, then selectEnter.
Select the components to be uninstalled as a comma-separated list of indexes. Then selectEnter.
Review the summary, and selectyto finalize the configuration.
Results
The selected components are uninstalled. A log file is available.
